
Jamia Islamabad Trust
Jamia Islamabad Trust has been registered with the aim of providing free education, elimination of poverty from the country and for the betterment of society. Whose author is the eminent educationist, international scholar, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zafar Iqbal Jalali, Principal and Sheikh ul Hadees of Jamia Islamabad. Under the tree of Jamia Islamabad Trust many educational institutions are working like 40 plus branches of Jamia Islamabad, Islamabad International School System, Islamabad Research Board, Islamabad Ulema Council, Nizam ul Masajid Council and an upcoming university as well. For this project 46 kanals of land has been purchased near GT Road Rawat Islamabad at a distance of 2 km on Kalar Sayyidaan Road from Rawat, Islamabad. Further expansion is in progress. Land has been surveyed from Survey of Pakistan. Soil testing of land has been done and a map compatible with modern requirements has been prepared. The proposed map of the University can be viewed on the University of Islamabad website www.jamiaislamabad.edu.pk. Jamia Islamabad Trust has just got registered a journal named “Islamabad Islamicus” by the Higher Education Commission of Pakitan (HEC).
Islamabad International University
Jamia Islamabad Trust is aiming to establish Islamabad International University (proposed name) under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Zafar Iqbal Jalali, with the aim of providing free education to needy and poor students of society, integrating Islamic values, teachings about Sufism, character building, distance learning, academic and technical excellence into educational system, so that the students leading to the professional and practical life are ready to become a responsible and useful citizens thus being instrumental in development of progressive and welfare society. For this purpose, 46 kanals of land has been purchased near GT Road Rawat Islamabad at a distance of 2 km on Kalar Sayyidaan Road from Rawat, Islamabad. Further expansion is in progress. Foundation-Stone
The great scholar and spiritual figure of the Islamic world, Mufti Abu Daud Muhammad Sadiq Qadri Rizvi (may Allah have mercy on him) established a branch of Jamaat-e-Reza Mustafa Pakistan in the federal capital Islamabad in 1974. He established madrassas and libraries at different places in the twin cities. In 1992, at the request of Haji Muhammad Faqir Anwar Rizvi, the founder of Jamaat-e-Reza Mustafa Pakistan inaugurated the Madrasa Ghousia Rizvia Ta’leem-ul-Quran Khanna Dak Islamabad. Haji Muhammad Anwar Rizvi Sahib constructed the building under their supervision.
Then on September 3, 2001, Mufti Abu Daud Sadiq Rizvi, Ameer of Jamaat-e-Reza Mustafa Pakistan laid the foundation stone of Jamia Masjid Noor Madina in Islamabad. Later, Jamia Ghousia Rizvia (Jamia Islamabad) I-8/4 Islamabad was established adjacent to the back of this mosque. At the end of 2001, Prof. Dr. Mufti Muhammad Zafar Iqbal was appointed as Khatib in the Mosque and as the Principal of the Jamia Islamabad.
Dr. Zafar Iqbal faced many difficulties in the beginning which he endured with great patience and fortitude, which has always been the way of the true scholars, so by the grace of Allah Almighty, by the grace of the Holy Prophet, with the special attention of saints of Bikhi Sharif and with his patience and sincerity, all these difficulties and obstacles were gradually removed.
Dr Zafar Iqbal had an International scholarly personality, Allah Almighty had endowed him with immense talents and great sincerity, due to which this institution started to be counted among the top ten institutions of Ahl-e-Sunnat Pakistan and thanks to Allah, today dozens of branches of Jamia Islamabad are engaged to spread and serve Islam.
Prof. Dr. Mufti Muhammad Zafar Iqbal Jalali
Name:
His full name is Prof. Dr. Mufti Mohammad Zafar Iqbal. His father name is Hafiz Jan Muhammad Jalali. He had born in a religious family of Mandi Bahauddin (Punjab).
Early education:
He first learned the Holy Quran from Maulana Muhammad Arif and Syed Zakir Hussain Shah, then After memorizing a few parts of Quran from his father, he enrolled in Jamia Muhammadiyah Nooria Bhakhi Sharif for regular memorization of Quran.
Islamic Scholarship Course:
After completion of memorizing Quran, he took admission in the same institution for Islamic Scholarship Course.
Higher Education:
He passed Matriculation and Intermediate as well as Fazil Arabic examination from Rawalpindi Board while B.S Honors in Arabic and M.A Arabic from International Islamic University Islamabad. After that he did his M.S Arabic in International Islamic University Islamabad.
He then did his PhD at The University Of Faisalabad. In which he wrote an article on the services of Hazrat Imam Ahmad Raza Khan under the title of “Effect of Quran and Sunnah in Poetry of Imam Ahmad Raza Khan. In this phase, he maintained his previous record and succeeded in A grade and became the first student of The University of Faisalabad to get a doctorate degree. He did his PhD under the supervision of Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Azhar, a distinguished Arabic language educationist. The formal launch of this article took place on January 24, 2012 at the annual Mujaddidin Conference at the Holiday In Hotel, Melody Islamabad by the hand of Mufti Peer Syed Muhammad Naveed ul Hassan Mash’hadi (Successor of Huzur Hafiz ul Hadees).
Professor:
He has been lecturing at the Jamia Masjid Noor-e-Madina, I-8/4, Islamabad as well as teaching at Islamabad College for Boys G-6/3 as Professor.
Principal:
With the laying of the foundation stone of Jamia Masjid Noor-e-Madina in January 2001, Jamia Ghousia Rizviyah I-8/4 was established in Islamabad. When he took charge of the institution, there were about 25 students in the Department of Memorizing Quran and Tajweed at that time then in 2001 he started this journey with a new style and determination and now Jamia Islamabad is counted among the top ten institutions of Ahl-e-Sunnat Pakistan.
Shaykh-ul-Hadith:
He also has excellent skills in the field of teaching. He holds the position of Shaykh-ul-Hadith in the institution.

He is a great Mufti. If the questioner comes to him to get a fatwa, he gives a fatwa and useful advices. In the field of fatwa writing, his book “Fatawa Jamia Islamabad”, Volume I, bears witness to his foresight and jurisprudential insight
Chairman Nizam-ul-Masjid Council of Pakistan:
He established the Nizam-ul-Masjid Council and provided an organized network to the people of country for the establishment, protection and resettlement of mosques.
Patron of Islamic Students Federation:
He guides the officials of the Islamic Students Federation to highlight the dream and talents of the students.
Chairman Islamabad Ulema Council International:
Under his auspices, Islamabad Ulema Council International, an international organization of Ulema and graduates of Jamia Islamabad is playing a pivotal role for the propagation Islam.
Chief Editor of Islamabad Islamicus:
Islamabad Islamicus is a research journal which is being published under his editorship. This journal is a modern platform for researchers in the field of research. By the grace of God, the articles published in this magazine are in accordance with the modern research style and international standards. This magazine is registered in Y category with Higher Education Commission (HEC).
General Secretary of Jamaat-e-Jalalia Pakistan:
He is serving as the General Secretary of Dargah Muqaddasa Bhikhi Sharif’s Spiritual Movement “Jamaat Jalalia Pakistan”.
Editor-in-Chief of Jalalia:
He is Editor-in-Chief of monthly Jalalia.
Permission and Khilafat
On 12th February, 2020, at the ocassion of twelfth annual Hazrat Syedna Siddiq Akbar Razi Allah Anhu Conference which was held at Rawalpindi Arts Council. Hazrat Syed Muhammad Naveed-ul-Hassan Shah Mashhadi Damat Barakat-e-Alia Sajjada Nasheen Astana Alia Bhakhi Sharif granted him permission and khilafat in the chain of Naqshbandiyya Qadriyya which Imam Rabbani Hazrat Mujaddid Alf-Sani Sheikh Ahmad Sirhindi Farooqi (may God have mercy on him) interprets as Absolute Khilafat. He also adorned Dastar e fazeelat on Dr Zafar Iqbal’s head. Apart from this,Hazrat Mian Manan Raza Barelvi Sahib Manani Mian from Bareilly sharif also gave him permission and khilafat in the chain of Qadriyya.

Welcome to Jamia Islamabad. I am proud to be a leader of one of the leading Islamic Institution of the country. Jamia Islamabad, a banquet of dozens of Campuses in the country, feels pride on having thousands of students, currently enrolled and graduated.
I believe that few centuries back when our ancestors focused on Islamic education as well as contemporary education then they were the leaders of the world. My determination is to produce best quality Islamic scholars who will also have expertise in other fields of contemporary education like medical, engineering, commerce etc. by implementing highly advanced techniques in research and academia.
For this purpose I am aiming to establish Islamabad International University (proposed name) with the aim of providing free education to needy students of society, integrating Islamic values, teachings about Sufism, academic and technical excellence into educational system, so that the students leading to the professional and practical life are ready to become a responsible citizen. Land acquirement, Survey of the land, soil testing and maping for this purpose has been completed on G.T Road Rawat.
